As a blogger you often need to specify some acronyms in you blog, description of some you know and some you don't. At that time you search various sources which can be time consuming, but here is a small plugin that does it automatically for you. Acronyms Plugin for Windows Live Writer is a simple plugin for Windows Live Writer that allows you to add acronyms to your blog posts. Whenever you enter an acronym, it is searched on various websites such as TUCAA and AcronymFinder and the actual description is fetched and inserted within a blog. But sometimes it happens that actual meaning of some acronyms can not be found for that purpose this version includes a feature of adding your custom description. The acronym can be displayed in a blog post with description as a tooltip. It also gives you an option of selecting the type of HTML tag you want to use. You can select from three types of HTML tags: ABBR, ACRONYM and SPAN tag. It is pretty easy to use and it can be accessed from the sidebar of Windows Live Writer.
